Negotiation Skills

Negotiation is any communication in which we attempt to achieve the approval or action of someone else.  It is something we do all the time, not just in business scenarios.  Skills in this areas are needed to resolve any disagreements or conflicts or clashes of interest.  The aim of any negotiation is to explore the situation and find a mutually acceptable solution.  All of us need skills in this area everyday.  Our workshop on Negotiation Skills starts with a self-assessment on the behaviours that make one effective at negotiations.  Through role-plays and team exercises, participants get to learn negotiation techniques as well as what can prevent them from being effective negotiators.
