Ravi Bhuthapuri is a passionate and dedicated learning & development professional who believes that the most effective learning interventions are designed with a deep appreciation of the work context, the learner’s skills and mindsets and include adequate follow-up support. He has offered learning programmes on these topics at Larsen & Toubro, HSBC, HCL, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Logica, Cap Gemini, RBS, Scope, Persistent, Orange Business Services, Wipro, Orchid Pharmaceuticals, AB Mauri, KKM Soft, Steria, Congruent, TVS Tyres and WABCO (Westinghouse Air Brakes Company). Ravi also mentors managers in areas of personal effectiveness, team management, leadership and client engagement. He has mentored managers in Congruent Solutions, CADGRAF and more recently, Analyttica. He completed in December 2016 a prestigious global assignment for HSBC to transform their leadership culture.
Ravi’s expertise stems from his 18 years of international experience in the IT domain across a variety of roles. Starting as a software developer, he went on to lead application development and support projects, delivered programmes and managed accounts for Fortune 100 clients across a number of industry sectors. From 2008 to early 2010, he headed Applications Delivery for the Energy & Utilities vertical in EDS/Mphasis in India, focusing on employee engagement, domain capability building, sales support and revenue growth. He has, since then, specialized as a corporate learning facilitator.
Ravi serves as Visiting Faculty for Executive Development Programs at Department of Management Studies at IIT-Madras and at the Great Lakes Institute of Management in Chennai. He is also an Executive Committee member of PDMA India (Product Development Management Association) and writes articles on Management and Leadership for The Hindu.
